Question :

You will write a 2 page review/abstract/summary on an article from a peer-reviewed scholarly journal. This is to assess your ability to select and summarize the research of others, analyze and apply the research of others, and communicate professionally and effectively to their regard. However, the most important rationale for this assignment is for you to see how statistical analysis is presented.

Answer :

Question / Problems of the article review

Project management (PM) and Benefits Management (BM) are the significant practices of a company in order to execute several projects perfectly. The main issue of the article is to display the problems that are faced by a company’s project manager while executing and delivering a particular project (Badewi, 2019). It also discusses various impacts of PM and BM practices within the firms to handle a definite project. The article focuses on the disadvantages and advantages of using these theories side by side while managing a vast or long term project. The main aim of the framework is to obtain success while seeking the project outputs.

Experiment for supporting the question

Certain experiments and tests have been conducted on the basis of the questions raised upon project management efficiency processes.  Assessment of the project outcomes has been analyzed by applying PM theory and the BM theory. The most effective policy has been determined by using the practices of the theories for specific project management (Meredith, 2019). It was found that some projects give outcomes better when PM and BM both are applied simultaneously while dealing with a project. Individual application of the processes has been proved less effective. Responsibility and accountability analysis for delivering a successful project is also a major part of the experiment. Even cost management and investment-related issue with a project is also a key factor to judge the success of the project after completion.

Methods of data collection

Collection of the various data, figures, and facts related to project management was done for analyzing the outcomes related to a project. Project managers of various companies were interrogated in order to collect essential information. Groups managing the project were also monitored and observed to keep a trace upon their working policy (Kumar, 2014). Professional non-academic documents were accessed for looking into the various ways of implementing benefits in project outcomes. Statistics and tables in the article represent the key factors which help a project manager to decide the strategy of approaching a project.

Data Analysis

Analysis of the data was conducted using organizations of own practices. The success of the project was determined by the data analysis that was conducted using the Null Hypothesis and Testing (Medium, 2019). This is a way in which two samples of data are supplied which may resemble equal or unequal means. Values and data related to different approaches of project management are considered and then compared in between. After this, the result is obtained by concluding all the facts mentioned in the data.

Conclusions and Findings

Various conclusions after studying the article can be made from the perspective of project management issues. The project managers are the most vital agents of an undergoing project. Improper judgment and selection of the project team as well as strategies may result in errors for the project outcome. Even it is observed that the use of PM and BM theory in a project is more beneficial for executing the project perfectly.
