Which activity seeks to build consensus in a group setting?

Question:- Which activity seeks to build consensus in a group setting?

Answer

Consensus building is an activity that is responsible for finding the common ground and making the group proceed with the same direction.

The achievement of the consensus depends on such elements like the coordinated efforts of the group members who perform together in the decision gathering process and who are all in agreement with the decisions that are made. There has to exist a conversation, an open mind to listening others and an apprehension to think differently. Contributing means readiness for giving, seeking and establishing some basis for working together. The problem hits at the idea of an agreement on something, but this, at the same time, might not be the best solution for certain people . It is the task of fighting together in order to achieve a situation of self-determination and the formation of a civilian society, in which everyone is accountable for his/her equal rights and duties to the others.
