What was the result of Korematsu v. United States regarding the imprisonment of Japanese Americans during World War II?

Question:- What was the result of Korematsu v. United States regarding the imprisonment of Japanese Americans during World War II? Do you agree or disagree with their decision?

Answer

The American Supreme Court unfortunately ratifies the interment order in Korematsu v United States case which was passed during the times of World War II. The Court found that the evacuation order which was executed after the imprisonment of over 100,000 people with Japanese background, of whom the great majority were actual citizens, was utilized on the grounds of “military necessity”. And there the Court sanctioned the outright violation of their civil rights and race discrimination solely on the basis of their ethnicity . However, to my mind, being based on racial bias and not satisfying the due process and equal protection law context, this decision was mistaken.
