Question:- What was one result of American propaganda during World War I?
Answer:
The American propaganda in World War I made the environment of anti-German sentiment and establishment of phobia against a German in the United States. The Committee on Public Information represented by George Creel employed posters, films, and speeches to depict Germans as uncivilized, inhuman “Huns” which in turn led to suspicion and discrimination against German Americans that resulted in harassment, property damage, and sometimes violence, even if they continuously showed loyalty to the United States
