Question:- Describe the continuous nature of the physical fitness concept
Answer: Subsequently, physical fitness is not a state whereby once an individual achieves the capacity he or she will cease the process, rather, it is a process in that it is cyclic. Fitness therefore cannot be labelled as being on the continuum of fit and unfit but rather a process that involves degrees in several components of fitness including cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and body weight. It is further a gradual process, which can experience gains or losses over and over depending on the ability to practice, diet, growing age, and lifestyle among other factors. This helps establish a mentality of constant reflection and further development of the self in recognition of the stage in life and the necessity of actively promoting physical wellness one stage at a time.
