In eukaryotic cells Free ribosomes are involved with in protein synthesis and these are large biomolecules composed of ribosomal RNA ((rRNA) and proteins. They lie in this location in the eukaryotic bodies of the cell, inside the cytoplasm as well as in the endomembrane of the cell body. Yet another process of protein synthesis is translation in which ribosomes read the mRNA to form polypeptide chains. For mRNA, after the DNA replication, transcription occurs in the nucleus and it transports the genetic information to the ribosome for translation process; whereas tRNA transport related amino acid to the ribosome to join the forming polypeptide chain. This process takes place at the surface of the ribosomes hence these are the main locations of protein synthesis in the eukaryotes.
