Answer: B. It provides referrals and information about treatment facilities.

The ACA is a National organization established as a Non-Profit organization whose principal role is to assist anyone who is struggling with alcohol-related problems mostly by offering resources for rehabilitation. Its primary purpose is to act as a knowledge centre and maintain reference services for all those involved in alcoholism. To the best of my knowledge the ACA provides a quick reference list of treatment facilities, rehabilitation centres, and support programs in the United States of America. This is a very important service which the organization performs to the individuals and their families in helping them find out the available options for the handling of alcoholism. ACA’s role in offering referrals provide an opportunity to get the right care at the right location to address certain needs thus assisting in accessing professional care to combat alcoholism with increased possibilities of successful recovery among the affected persons
