Invasion of Poland which can also be termed as September Campaign, the Polish Campaign, the War of Poland 1939 and the Polish Defensive War of 1939. The invasion was mainly a joint attack that was conducted by Nazi Germans, the Soviet Union and Slovak Republic on Republic of Poland. The invasion by Germany had started on 1^st September 1939 that was mainly a week after Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was signed between the Soviet Union and Germany and this was mainly a day after Supreme Soviet within Soviet Union approved this pact. A major aim related to this invasion was based on dividing the Polish territory after ending the operation. The objective of this invasion was related to reducing the existence levels of Poland as a major country and exterminating the Poles who were considered to be the inferior people. Poland was invaded by Soviets on the 17^th of September and the campaign had ended on October 6^th after Soviet Union and Germany had annexed and divided entire Poland based on the terms that were a part of the German-Soviet Frontier Treaty. Poland was invaded by the German forces from the north, west and south after the Gleiwitz incident had occurred.
