Question: bones do not have a role in __________. support movement glycogen production fat storage blood cell formation
Answer : glycogen production
Glycogenogenesis is the action through which glycogen (a branched polysaccharide) synthesizes and the subsequent storage of energy which occurs within the cell. This mechanisms takes it major place in the liver and skeletal muscle, yet the bones are no included in the cycle. The basic tasks of bones is provide structural support to also function as walls to protect important organs, they contribute to movement by their connections to muscles and tissues and they store minerals (such as calcium and phosphorus) and produce blood cells within the bone marrow. Nonetheless, bones are not involved in the two types of glycogen phases, i.e., production and storing, which are vital processes that occur in some other specialized tissues and organs.
