During the prewriting stage, an author will determine:

A. purpose.

B. questions to answer.

C. paragraph topics.

D. examples.

Answer: A, purpose.

An author will select the drive when preparation of the work. This includes being conscious of the subject and the shades of what you are writing about. The first thing that needs to be done when seeing publication of a book is to ask yourself “why.” What are you planning to write about and why do you want to create this book? Knowing why is just as vital as knowing what to pen about since this will make it humbler for you to go on to the next writing phase.
