In which layer of the atmosphere does weather occur?

Question:- In which layer of the atmosphere does weather occur?

Answer: Unpredictability mainly manifests itself in the troposphere, which is the first layer in the Earth’s atmosphere. Beginning at Earth’s surface and reaching between 8 and 16 miles or kilometres altitude depending on the latitude and season, the troposphere encompasses roughly about 75 to 80% of the atmospheric mass and virtually all the water in the atmosphere. This layer is characterized by the cooling of air as you go higher up and this makes the vertical transport of air and moisture possible. These conditions bring about cloud formation, precipitation or rains, and winds that constitute weather. The troposphere is the most dynamic layer as it is stimulated by heating from the sun, rotation of the earth, and appearance of surface relief, as well as causes the continuously changing atmospheric conditions that are felt daily. Almost all forms of weather events such as rainfall, snowfall, storms, and changes of temperature occur in this important layer of the atmosphere.
