At the end of the physical change, the quantity of matter in the system is still the same as at the beginning of the change even if other changes are undergoing in the form of transformation or the occurrence of certain processes. In other words, mass is conserved throughout physical changes like; change in state, spitting, solidifying, evaporating, dissolving or even during chemical reactions or radioactive transformation. This is seen in cases where the whole mass of the reagents is equivalent to the total mass of the resultant products. This principle is the law of conservation of mass which is one of the major principles of nature and can be extremely important in physics, chemistry and even in the field of engineering.
