What is the source of energy for the water cycle?

Question:- What is the source of energy for the water cycle?

Answer:

There is one energy in the water cycle that initiates the action, and this is solar radiation. In solar propulsion, sunlight that touches the surface of the Earth supplies the amount of heat that is needed to transmute water present in seas, lakes, and other water sources to vapour. This evaporated water vapor rises into the atmosphere where temperatures cause it to cool and condense forming clouds. The water vapour condenses and returns to the Earth’s surface in the form of precipitation ranging from rain, and snow, to hail. This precipitation allows for the replenishment of the water resources, and hence, the cycle persists, primarily due to the continuous provision of radiant energy from the sun.
