Herzberg named one set as motivators which are also known as satisfiers and the other one is named hygiene factors or dissatisfiers. Macleod deemed the satisfiers or motivators as the factors that relate to job satisfaction and motivation that includes the following; However, hygiene factors or dissatisfiers are the factors which are independent of the job, but if not properly addressed lead to dissatisfaction.
