Which of the following terms describes all organisms in the kingdoms Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia?

a) multicellular

b) photosynthetic

c) eukaryotic

d) prokaryotic

Answer: c) eukaryotic

The most favourable elements in the kingdoms like protists, fungi, plants, and animals are the members of the Eukaryotic organisms. Eukaryotes are organisms whose cells have an organized nucleus, that is, it is enclosed in a membrane and other specific structures like mitochondria, and chloroplasts in photosymbiotic eukaryotes. This particular is one of the key factors that set up eukaryotes with the prokaryotes hence making the former possess membrane-bound organelles as compared to the latter which are single-celled organisms without a true nucleus. The four kingdoms categorized are the Kingdom moneran, fungi, protists, and finally, the animal kingdom which also encompasses the plant. There are many differences found in these kingdoms. One is multicellular, but the other is not. One can do photosynthesis while the other cannot. However, all the kingdoms consist of eukaryotic organisms and therefore the word “eukaryotic” can be used to describe all these kingdoms.
