His extravagant way of life and the parties he threw are testaments of his selflessness and zest for life. Besides, looking up Gatsby as having extraordinary optimism and devotion in trying to attain the objects of his heart that include wealth and Daisy as well. Even when Gatsby’s dreams meet reality, he remains loyal and assuming fault for Daisy’s mistakes, out of devotedness. In spite of the fact that flawed, Gatsby’s creative dream, his unwavering hope, and his tragic idealism make him great . The story carries both the tones of celebration and that of a warning concerning the American Dream.
